ABOUT LINDSEY SAUGSTAD
Hello! I am a people first, multi-faceted leader with specialized skills in employee relations, business partnership, change management, performance, project and talent management, training and development and policy writing and application. As a servant leader, I thrive in servicing the internal customer and enjoy finding new ways to improve process and remove barriers while focusing on equitable outcomes and building culture. I spent over 20 years in retail management operations where I was required to wear many, many hats and maintain a shopkeeper mentality. During this time it was the hat of the people that I wore the longest and with pride. I transitioned to HR Management during the pandemic, obtaining a certification from Portland State University. I\'ve spent the last 3 years honing my skills as a HR business partner in a high end grocery retail environment and then in hospitality where I oversaw 5 locations, including the opening of a new membership only location. Due to a workforce reduction, I am seeking my next role with a company that walks the talk of and for their culture, who provides space for staff to show their individuality and to contribute to a team looking to continuously improve upon itself.
