I specialize in strategic communications, community engagement, and government relations. I am passionate about making cities work better for people through creating more transportation options. My career spans multiple industries within the public and private sector including government, nonprofit, consulting, and higher education, with a consistent focus on community engagement to inform policy and infrastructure project development. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a track record of inclusive management of teams, boards, committees and coalitions. At Vanderbilt University from 20••••25, I led the implementation of MoveVU, the university\'s comprehensive mobility and transportation demand management plan. As Director of Advocacy & Communications at Walk Bike Nashville from 20••••22, I worked to change policies and infrastructure to make our rapidly growing city more walkable and bikeable. At MP & F Strategic Communications from 20••••19, my clients included the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and the Metro Nashville Planning Department\'s transportation demand management program. I also led award-winning public outreach efforts for nMotion, the 25-year strategic plan of the Nashville MTA/WeGo.Before moving to Nashville in 2014, I was the Chief Operating Officer of Transportation Alternatives in New York City, leading grassroots campaigns to improve transportation policies. I also served as Chief of Staff of the NYC Department of Environmental Protection and as the Manager of Performance Reporting & Analysis for NYC & Company, New York City\'s Convention and Visitors\' Bureau.
