Leads engagement strategies across museum operations, including visitation, membership, public programs, social media, philanthropy, sponsorships, and the Museum Store- Implements marketing strategies across digital, print, radio, and social media- Identifies and applies for grants, sponsorships, and awards on behalf of the Museum- Oversees two Museum Stores, ensuring mission-focused merchandise selection, inventory management, and financial tracking- Recruits, trains, and manages Visitor Services staff and volunteers to enhance visitor experiences- Serves as project manager for JCPRD’s annual Juneteenth and Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations, building community partnerships and overseeing event logistics. Successes so far- Increased philanthropic contributions overall and nearly doubled giving between 2022 and 2023, including a successful $100K fundraising campaign to transfer a popular, award-winning physical exhibit into a high-quality digital experience- Grew museum membership from 525 households to more than 900 households- Revamped merchandise at the Johnson County Museum Store to align with the museum\'s mission and core themes, resulting in record-breaking sales in 2024. The net gain in store sales has exceeded the cost of the new store (opened in Oct. 2021) a full two years ahead of projections- Drafted more than a dozen award applications, resulting in 10 local, regional, and national awards that recognize the museum\'s work.
