ABOUT LINDSEY VALENZUELA

With over 15 years of experience in the managed care setting, I am the Vice President of Population Health Integration at Desert Oasis Healthcare, a leading health care organization in the Coachella Valley. In this role, I lead a multidisciplinary team of pharmacists, nurses, advanced practice providers, pharmacy technicians, and care coordinators to address the needs of our members with a focus on quality, outcomes, and cost avoidance. As a board certified, advanced practice, and residency trained ambulatory care pharmacist, I have a passion for advancing the profession of pharmacy and improving the health and well-being of our community. I have developed and expanded programs that enhance the role and impact of pharmacists in chronic disease management, medication therapy management, antibiotic stewardship, and technology adoption. I have also spoken at various forums and events to showcase our innovative and integrated pharmacy programs, metrics, and best practices to physicians, pharmacists, administrators, and the public. My goal is to leverage my expertise in population health integration, pharmacy management, and clinical leadership to create value and deliver excellence for our organization and our members.
