As the Congressional Affairs Specialist, I will be at the forefront of advancing the interests and priorities of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq to U.S. policymakers. My role centers on building and nurturing strong relationships with members of Congress, congressional staff, and relevant committees to support the Kurdistan Regional Government’s (KRG) goals, enhance U.S-Kurdistan relations, and raise awareness of the Kurdistan Region’s unique security, geopolitical, and humanitarian needs. Collaborating with the KRG\'s diplomatic and policy teams, I will develop and execute legislative strategies that effectively represent the KRG’s objectives in Washington, D.C.
