I am a seasoned laboratory technologist and manager with licensure and years of experience in the biotechnology field, specifically NGS. I pride myself on being able to use my scientific knowledge to develop assays, lead teams, and improve laboratory operations. Key Highlights:Leadership: I currently oversee daily lab operations and lead a team of technologists and research assistants. I have led lab technologists on multiple teams in a previous position in the NGS field.Assay Development: I have experience in developing assays for DNA library preparation for clinical and research use, including epigenome/methylation libraries, which contributed to growth.Analytical/Troubleshooting Support: I provided analytical and troubleshooting support to directors, senior managers, and executives for NGS data overview utilizing Illumina BaseSpace and demux summaries. Quality Assurance/Control: I currently conduct self inspections and review paperwork for CLIA/CAP licensure and regulations. In previous positions, I frequently aided QA departments in CAPA review and ensuring compliance.Project Management: I have managed multiple projects seeing them from accessioning to completion.In my years of experience I have greatly improved my project management, communication, and collaborative skills.
