About Lindsey Holmes
I am an accounting major from Maryland at Auburn University. I am expected to graduate in May of 2025, and after earning my bachelors degree I am participating in the MAcc program at Auburn University to obtain my masters in accounting and sit for the CPA Exam. I am a hard and detail-oriented worker and am looking forward to using the skills I learn in school to pursue a professional career in Accounting, specifically in the tax practice. In regards to accounting, I have had the wonderful experience of interning in Frazier & Deeter\'s tax department, where I was able to get hands-on experience preparing tax returns. This was an amazing way for me to apply my education to my work, which was so fulfilling. I plan to use this experience and learning opportunities in my second internship, in PWC\'s tax department in Winter 2025. I am also honored to be a member of Beta Alpha Psi, which gives me the opportunities to develop my accounting and networking skills during recruitment. In addition, I have been a member of Beta Alpha Psi’s Consulting and Advisory Program, where I have been able to consult with Auburn faculty members to improve the cash management and procurement processes of the university.
