About Lindsey Haswell
I\'m an experienced multi-disciplinary business counselor, crisis manager, communications and legal expert in startups. As a founding team member at Tempo, I manage legal and various other ops-related functions. Before joining Tempo, I led the Legal, Compliance and People Teams at crypto companies MoonPay and Blockchain.com. I am also an Initial Contributor to the founding team of the Core blockchain network, a Bitcoin-powered layer-one blockchain for ethereum-compatible smart contracts. Before joining the crypto payments industry, I served in many roles at Lime, including as the Chief Legal Officer, and head of teams from people to communications to trust & safety. I\'m a people manager with proven ability to establish and lead a team and build the machinery to scale growth-stage businesses. Before joining Lime, I co-founded a venture-backed software company for autonomous vehicle fleets. And before that, I was a founding member and executive of Uber\'s Legal Team, where I oversaw many of the most complex legal and regulatory issues affecting the rideshare industry. From devising novel legal and litigation strategies to influencing favorable rideshare regulations, I was on the founding team of lawyers and business strategists who made rideshare legally possible. I also spent many years as tech litigator at law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
