ABOUT LINDSEY EDWARDS
I served as a Community Social Worker as a part of the Permanent Supportive Housing Program. I recently transitioned to the Rapid Rehousing Program, serving as a Pre-trial Community Social Worker. I graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a major in Criminology and a minor in Biomolecular Science. Focusing on the underlying factors justice involved individuals commit the crimes that they do, with homelessness being one of the many reasons. Given this information, I will devote my work towards housing pre-trial clients in hopes recidivism rates will decrease in both the homeless population and with justice involved individuals.
