I lead a dynamic, multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering impactful global education and training in paediatric infectious diseases to healthcare professionals and the wider public. I oversee patient and public involvement (PPI) initiatives and coordinate the activities of the global Penta ID Network. My role is central to shaping the strategic direction of the network, strengthening global partnerships, and ensuring high-quality, inclusive engagement across all programmes- Team Leadership: Drive operational and financial planning, performance management, and continuous development for the NET team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability to deliver against ambitious objectives- Global Network Coordination: Lead the coordination of the global scientific Penta ID Network, implementing structural change, streamlining operations, and ensuring alignment with the network’s long-term vision. Oversee high-level meetings, communications, and strategic planning- Partnerships & Engagement: Cultivate and maintain senior-level relationships with stakeholders to support the growth and sustainability of the Penta ID Network. Develop and implement new initiatives aligned with Penta\'s scientific and strategic priorities- Programme Development: Lead the development of business plans and the implementation of new processes to enhance quality assurance and evaluation across all NET team initiatives- Grant Development: Spearhead the development of successful EU and industry grant applications and contracts. Provide strategic oversight and project management for EU-funded initiatives- PPI: Oversee the design and delivery of inclusive, impactful patient and public involvement strategies, ensuring diverse perspectives are embedded across programmes- Science Communication: Translate complex scientific content into accessible language for non-specialist audiences, promoting public understanding and engagement with research outcomes.
