ABOUT LINDSAY COATS
Lindsay Coats is the Senior Associate Director of Employer Engagement at the Saint Anselm College. At New England College and the New Hampshire Institute of Art, she was the Director of Career and Life Planning. She also taught in both the BFA Foundations Department and the MA in Art Education programs. She received her Master of Fine Arts Degree in Studio Art from University of California, Davis, a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Painting from Brandeis University, and her Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from Wheaton College, Norton, MA. While living in Eureka, CA, she was an Adjunct Professor at the College of the Redwoods and Education Manager at the Morris Graves Museum of Art. Her work has appeared at Sunshine Art and Design\'s Quilting Redefined exhibition in Lancaster, PA, Gould Academy’s Owen Gallery in Bethel, ME, Triton Museum of Art in Santa Clara, CA, and the Piante Gallery in Eureka, CA. Through paintings, collages, and drawings she explores formal and contextual relationships between organic and human-made objects.
