As the Internal Communications team lead, I manage and oversee a variety of programs, campaigns and strategic initiatives. From employee engagement initiatives to employee experience programming to company culture organizer/curator. An annual responsibility I look forward to is business planning. Each year, I sit down with our Corporate Communications Director to put our goals and objectives for the upcoming year down on paper. Our most important goal continues to be \"bumping the lamp\" or moving the needle in areas that result in an enhanced employee experience and workplace. I currently manage more than 35 annual internal communication campaigns at Burns & McDonnell. My involvement throughout the year encompasses many of the written, oral, visual and digital components connected to Burns & Mac\'s strategic internal campaigns. There are many stakeholders within our firm that have relevant and important information to share. My job is to raise awareness in a creative and informative manner.In addition, I\'m also one of our dedicated intranet managers. As an internal communicator, it\'s my goal to enhance and maintain our robust intranet content. We accomplish this by providing transparent/informative information paired with user-friendly functionality to our employees.
