ABOUT LINDSAY WINGATE

I am an energetic and innovative individual and professional who sees the power of a collective approach to drive meaningful climate action. My journey into climate work was motivated by a commitment I made to my children; to focus my energy and skills into securing a sustainable future for them and future generations. With a wide experience in project management, digital marketing, community engagement and strategic planning, I am an effective communicator, relationship builder and achieve impactful outcomes. My career demonstrates a blend of voluntary and professional roles where my passion for change and a better future has been at the centre of my work and proven achievements. I am highly motivated, enthusiastic and reflective. I’m not afraid of a challenge and will evaluate results and myself to make things work more effectively. I have recognised that my strengths lie in projects, building strong relationships with internal and external partners as well as working on my own using my own initiative to devise creative solutions and ideas. I have a relaxed and effective people management approach, I’m confident at building productive and successful partnerships with experience in a range of sectors. Since becoming a mum to two young daughters, I have further developed my ability to work efficiently, organise and delegate. Negotiation and compromise have also been important with two strong willed girl but has been useful tools to use within my working life.
