As the first permanent Head of Foundation, I have responsibility for the strategic direction, management and delivery of all Foundation activities.•Developed new (and the Foundation’s first) grant making strategy (c. £1m) which focuses on providing access, opportunities and support to young people experiencing inequality to enable them take direct action in addressing the climate emergency.•Ensure the Foundation delivers on commitments made through IVAR’s Open and Trusting Grantmaking and ACF’s funder commitment on climate change. •Responsibility for securing income and support for the Foundation’s long-term future.•Responsibility for compliance with fundraising, charity and financial regulations.•Work with over 20 partners and grantees to better understand impact, build relationships and capture learning.•Responsibility for growing internal and external awareness and support for the Foundation.•Dotted line management into CEO of Corporate parent body, ensuring strong working relationship and ongoing support for the Foundation’s work.•Work closely with Board Chair and Trustees to develop strategy and ensure effective governance.

I am currently working at UK Youth, a leading national youth charity working across the UK. We have a bold ambition to impact young lives by unlocking youth work as a catalyst for change.
