Requirements Development (L3 and L4) and Verification & Validation (V&V) Planning - Initiated independent investigation to correct and streamline discontinuities across the 300+ L3 and L4 requirements - Partner with L4 SEs to develop verifyable requirements and advance V&V plans across 12 L4 Instrument Subsystems- Negotiated succinct, multi-organizational ICD V&V process to ensure Instrument subsystems are accountible for complying with interface documents- Author 60+ page multifunctional and milti-organizational Instrument L3 and L4 V&V PlanInsturment System Functional Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)- Lead documentation of potential functional failure modes across the Instrument in the Instrument Functional FMECA (D-108363); assess criticality of failure mode impacts on Project Level 1 requirements- Parter with engineers to investigate mitigations and contingency plans- Responsible for identifying Single Point Failures to elevate to Project Systems Engineers, Safety & Mission Assurance and Project Management, inform decision-making conversations for appropriate mitigationsRisk Management- Responsible for managing 30+ Instrument Level and 20+ Instrument-related Project Level Mission and Implementation Risks- Discern and identify multidisciplinary Instrument Risks, assess likelihood of potential cost, schedule or technical consequence if realized- Investigate, develop and negotiate mitigations across the instrument system and subsystems- Present recommendations to Project Management on a monthly cadence to inform critical risk-mitigation decisions
