USTA/PNW has more than members, 200 organizational members, 400+ volunteers and seasonal staff, and is comprised of the states of Oregon, Washington, Alaska and Idaho north. USTA/PNW is located in Beaverton, Oregon.USTA/PNW is one of 17 sections of the USTA. Established in 1881, the USTA is the national governing body for the sport of tennis and the recognized leader in promoting and developing the sport’s growth on every level, from local communities to the crown jewel of the professional game, the US Open. USTA is the largest tennis organization in the world, with more than individual members, and 17 geographical sections, including USTA Pacific Northwest. Leads employment practices and procedures for 400+ employees across 4 states by applying best HR practices and ensuring full compliance with state regulations. Directs the recruitment and onboarding process for all full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees in the Pacific Northwest, using strategic hiring methods and efficient onboarding systems, achieving higher retention rates. Prepares and submitted all government compliance reports, including Worker’s Compensation, EEO, payroll, and insurance documentation in adherence to regulatory requirements for successful audits and no compliance violations. Orchestrates payroll processing for all employees across the section, employing advanced payroll systems and precise records, which maintains accurate compensation and deductions for all employees. Fosters strong employee relations and nurtures a positive company culture by utilizing engagement initiatives and conflict resolution strategies, contributing to enriching workplace morale and teamwork. Administers the employee benefits program, including 401(k), medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, paid time-off, and vacation for eligible staff.
