Over the past year, I have been in the process of both becoming a mother and becoming an Integral Development Coach. I started my coaching program in June of 2022. My son was born in August, 2022. While perhaps not a ‘logical plan’, it turned out to be the perfect plan. Ultimately what it meant was I got to become a mother through the lens of my own personal development. And that made all of this possible.As I was becoming a coach and a mother, I noticed my script flipped from, “how do I prepare to become a parent?” to “how is parenthood nurturing me and cultivating me as a person?”. This question is what inspired woven and where I decided to focus my work as an integral development coach.In its essence, Woven is integral development coaching conducted by me for those navigating the early stages of parenthood. I hold that statement with the intention of clarity, but also with an ever-broadening expansion of how we define parenthood. If this statement feels in alignment with you, then perhaps there is something here for you.In service of clarity, one distinction I would like to make is that I am not a ‘parenting expert’. I am here in support of you - the person beneath the parent. I hold space for your unique essence and guide you through your spectacularly distinct way of being in this world. I tend to all that is foundational to you as you step deeper and deeper into your role as a parent. I personally feel so alive at the possibility of tending to what feels perhaps less nurtured in our society, which is the you in all of this.
