As an HR Generalist I provide hands-on support to multiply Business Units and management staff in the areas of employee relations, management of employee data/PTO, and personnel management.I perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including areas such as compensation, benefits assistance and STD/formal leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development. I ensure new hire processing and orientation program is completed and documented for incoming employees. I deploy training policies, identifies training needs and assists management in locating training options to support career progression and delivery of business goals. I work with managers to ensure delivery of the annual performance management and appraisal process. I handle employment-related inquiries on sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. I\'m responsibly for maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices in coordination with HR Director; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. I also advises management on any known and potential HR risks and update in employment law as needed. I ensure consistent documentation, processes and employment expectations across the Business Unit. I\'m working directly with the General Manager and Portfolio HR Director to undertake various HR projects to support organizational needs.
