I’ve dedicated my career to education policy because all children deserve the chance to reach their full potential, and access to high quality education is the best tool we have to expand opportunity. As Senior Vice President of Policy and Government Affairs at HMH, I lead initiatives that support educators and leaders by improving instructional materials, illuminating student progress through high quality data, and creating the systemic conditions that drive meaningful change in the classroom.Before joining HMH, I worked in a governor’s office, at the U.S. Department of Education, and with advocacy organizations to expand opportunities for all students. My expertise includes research-driven policymaking, legislative engagement, and cross-sector collaboration to improve student outcomes at scale.I’m passionate about bringing together stakeholders from across the education ecosystem to find solutions that create real impact. I believe that we must keep students and teachers at the center of every policy decision, and that as private and public-sector education leaders, we should hold ourselves accountable for progress. The stakes couldn’t be higher.I am a dance and basketball mom of two amazing K-12 kiddos. I love to read British mysteries, eat French food, travel to island destinations, and play in my garden.
