About Lindiwe Stenberg

Although my background is in design and marketing I have always been interested in science and technology, especially growing up with a disabled sister. I saw how health innovations made her, and my parent\'s lives easier, so I decided to go back to school to become a nurse so I could help others like my sister. Though nursing school wasn\'t quite the right fit, the world of innovation to improve lives still excited me and I recently graduated with a Masters of Science in Healthcare Marketing. Now I can use my design and marketing talents within an innovative yet regulated space like healthcare. I’ve decided to start down a path to apply my extensive background in marketing and design to create solutions for B2C and B2B innovative companies. My goal? Helping them forge meaningful connections with their customers and ultimately, create positive change through the power of science and technology. I guess you\'d call me a problem solver – after all, marketing is all about deeply understanding an audience and how products or services can solve their problems and make their lives better. I\'m uniquely capable of speaking both creative and business, product and marketing.I love working with cross functional teams and getting folks to rally around a common objective. Ideally, that goal influenced by the voice of the customer and not just the bottom line. This can be difficult, especially within highly regulated fields, but I’ve got you covered. My specialty is bringing together cross functional teams to rally around the same goal - let\'s do something that\'s never been done before!And when I\'m not working• I\'m in the midst of finishing my masters from Rochester Institute of Technology with an emphasis on marketing and leadership.• I currently volunteer for my local chapter of PMI and am on the marketing committee for Pasadena Humane, a local no-kill animal shelter.    I was asked to join our Marketing VP as her chief of staff to bring greater structure, focus, and efficiency to Venmo’s growing marketing organization. I also work closely with cross-functional partners to align strategy, manage planning cycles, and ensure we’re investing our time and budget where it matters most.I lead end-to-end business operations strategy, supporting planning, execution, and performance tracking across brand, growth, lifecycle, and product marketing teamsI have ownership of Venmo marketing\'s annual and quarterly planning, including budget forecasting, team capacity modeling, and long-range resource allocationI love a streamlined workflow and I work with our growth marketing operations lead on campaign governance, and creating KPI dashboards that surface insights to marketing and executive teamsI get to work cross-functionally with finance, analytics, and product to ensure alignment on priorities, spend, and go-to-market timingThe goals is to build systems that scale — from tooling and vendor partnerships to internal comms and team rituals — so we can move faster and smarter as we grow
