ABOUT LINDA SOKLICH

I believe in the power of the arts and cultural districts to spark systems change, build belonging, and connect communities. It’s what’s driven my 20+ year journey across the cultural and nonprofit sectors—most recently leading strategy, transformation, development and partnerships at Arts Centre Melbourne. In that role, I helped shape a future-ready cultural institution: building new operating models, forging cross-sector partnerships, embedding DEI into strategy, and launching frameworks that redefined how we measure creative and social impact. I worked closely across philanthropy, strategic partnerships and government to align funding with mission — helping to grow revenue and deepen donor engagement. Alongside extraordinary teams and collaborators, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to projects that didn’t just sustain organizations—but reimagined what they could be.My areas of focus and expertise include: • Fund development, sponsorship & revenue growth• Organizational strategy & transformation• Cross-sector partnership development (corporate, tertiary, government, philanthropic)• Cultural impact measurement & evaluation• Stakeholder engagement, consultation & facilitation• DEI integration & purpose-led leadershipAfter more than a decade in Melbourne’s cultural ecosystem, my husband and I recently relocated to Toronto. I’m keen to contribute meaningfully to the creative life of this city, connect with fellow cultural leaders and changemakers, and be of service in ways that matter.
