Peninsula, CA, US

Sports Basement is a company that embraces the community, customers, and environment. I\'ve had the privilege of representing the company at community events, merchandised in-store products, worked in receiving & fulfillment, and welcomed customers to our store. When you walk into Sports Basement, you are being welcomed to our community of fun-loving, sports-minded people. We’re active community members running on local trails and volunteering for local animal shelters. We’re instructors at your local pool and fellow competitors in some of the hardest races in the country. We bring passion and expertise to work so you know that when you need advice on gearing up you’re not getting a sales pitch, you’re getting guided to the right equipment by someone who’s been there.

ABOUT LINDA LYDON

2020 was my year of being brave, bold, and believing in myself. In 2018, I started a journey of reinvention on my path towards meaningful work. In June 2019 I retired from a job I held for almost 18 years. I took time to reflect and learn. When I had doubts about finding my place in the employee wellness industry, I had an amazing community of people wipe away those doubts and gently nudge me forward. Last year I wrote my vision for a career in the wellness community: “As Ninja Linda, I am a positive catalyst for change in the workplace. I advocate for and promote a path to empowerment with work-life integration skills and mindfulness practices. I use collaboration and organization to create strategies to administer work-life integration models that connect all aspects of an individual’s life in an enriching and positive approach.” I found my community!
