Serving as Deputy Project Manager alongside other dedicated professionals as part of a highly capable and dedicated team for the General Engineering Consultant (GEC) to deliver a multi-billion dollar transportation project to increase trip time reliability, enhance safety, fuel economic growth, and improve Georgians\' quality of life. GDOT is the lead state agency. The GEC reports to the Program Management Consultant and GDOT. The GEC is responsible for the day to day development of the project. Responsibilities include: preliminary engineering; concept layouts; environmental clearance; assistance with early ROW acquisitions; preparation of costing plans; procurement assistance and construction oversight, including owner verification testing and inspection.
