LeeScribe is a digital transcription service that produces accurate transcripts from digital audio recordings for global clients 24/7. We accept dictation through our toll free numbers or from cell phones, PDAs, computers and/or Dictaphones. Our stenographers transcribe documents that are true to your dictation – the first time and in rapid time.I launched LeeScribe to solve what I found was a pressing need in the industry: The combination of physical constraints, the logistics of receipt and delivery, and the high cost of transcribing audio with increasing pressure for faster turn-around. ABOUT LINDA LEE
I was a young mother in 1993, interested in a career that would give me the flexibility to work from home. So I went back to college and focused on a different career path. I obtained my CVR certification as a Certified Verbatim Reporter and began my career as a court reporter in the Boston area. It wasn’t long before I started my own court reporting agency called Lee & Associates. I had a vision of what my agency would be built on, quality client relationships, a strong referral network and a loyal staff with negligible turnover. For the past 19 years I\'ve focused on strengthening my business by expanding both our client base and our internal talent pool. We also expanded physically including a conference room to provide on-site litigation support facilities that our clients use for: Local + Telephonic Out-of-State Depositions Hearings Arbitrations Examinations Under Oath (EUOs) As digital recordings became more prevalent, I explored how to harness emerging technology to drastically reduce the downtime and complicated logistics involved in receiving audio files, transcribing and delivering transcripts and reports to our clients. That’s when I launched LeeScribe, a subsidiary business that avoids all the frustration and hassles associated with traditional transcription and replaces it with state-of-the-art, digital transcription. We now have a global solution and a product to capture your voice. Equally exciting was the speed we could offer in turnaround time—transcribing from any type of audio recording media, anywhere around the world—with complete accuracy. I’m interested in the latest technology developments in court reporting and transcription. I’m also passionate about treating people fairly and respectfully: clients, employees & strangers alike.
