Serve as a liaison between the State and the American Red Cross as part of the Governor\'s Unified Command team stationed at the State of Connecticut\'s Emergency Operation Center (EOC) in the Hartford State Armory. And provide communication links between disaster relief operations and the Disaster Operation Center for the American Red Cross, as an Emergency Communications Response Vehicle (ECRV) Operator. ECRVs are operated by volunteer staff working as needed unpaid.There are only 12 ECRVs across the nation. Other American Red Cross roles include on-call for DST, DAT, local fires and ERV, mass care operatons. Volunteer since 1978 Louisville, Kentucky.
