About Linda Addison

Linda is a former CEO and experienced independent director, now building out her board portfolio. She is Lead Director of Globe Life (NYSE: GL), an S&P 500 company, board member and Audit Committee Chair of CohnReznick, and board member of Lexitas, an Apax Partners private equity portfolio company. Earlier she was an independent director of KPMG, of a NASDAQ-listed SPAC, and the Advisory Board of Northern Trust. Linda has chaired public and private company audit, compensation and special committees, served on nominating/governance, risk and human capital committees, and overseen technology and ESG committees. She qualifies as an SEC Audit Committee Financial Expert.Before her board career, Linda was US Managing Partner (CEO), Chair of the US Management Committee, and global board member of Norton Rose Fulbright, one of the world’s largest law firms. Her role included leading the firm’s M&A and post-merger integrations across six regions (North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, South Africa and the Middle East). Before heading the firm, Linda represented some of the world’s largest companies in their most significant matters. She built close relationships with CEOs and boards in industries including financial services, tech, professional services, energy, healthcare, pharma, life sciences, medical devices, airlines, telecom, mining, real estate, retail, consumer products, food. Agenda, an FT publication for board members, named her a Compensation 100: Top Board Candidates With Pay-Setting Skills. She earned a Climate Leadership Certification from Diligent and CERT Certificate in Cybersecurity Oversight from Carnegie Mellon. A member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the boards of MD Anderson Cancer Center and Catalyst, she chaired the University of Texas System Chancellor’s Council and was Founding President of the Center for Women in Law. Throughout her career she has worked to advance women in law, in business and on corporate boards.Linda received the Margaret Brent Award, the ABA’s highest honor to a woman lawyer who has achieved professional excellence and paved the way to success for other women. Recipients include Sandra Day O’Connor and Ruth Bader Ginsburg. A first-generation American whose first language was Polish, Linda connects easily with people from different backgrounds, cultures and countries. An avid reader, she loves to travel, is interested in health and fitness, and has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro. She is a Distinguished Alumna of the University of Texas at Austin.
