Linda Volhein is a nonprofit executive and respected community leader with over 25 years of success as a CEO, interim executive director, consultant, mentor, fundraiser, and organizational development coach. Linda began her career in 1993, as the executive director of Florence Crittenton. Linda displayed the dedication and business acumen to execute an expansive, growth-oriented strategic vision and plan for Florence Crittenton that resulted in the development of a suite of critical new programs, a new, state-of-the art campus, innovative strategic alliances and the establishment of the Girls Leadership Academy of Arizona, the first single-gender public school in Arizona. After retiring from Florence Crittenton in 2011, Linda founded Volhein Consulting to apply the breadth and depth of her nonprofit experience. Her vision is to leave the world a better place by providing nonprofits with a suite of critical consulting services including interim executive leadership, counsel, assessment and change management. Linda has as served as the Interim Executive Director for a wide variety of nonprofit social services including Keogh Health Connection, Sojourner Center, Youth ETC, East Valley Adult Resources, and most recently New Life Center. Linda\'s range of experience includes working with large and small agencies undergoing a transition to new executive leadership - especially those in decline in need of reorganization, in merger discussions or facing financial challenges. Linda has been widely recognized as a community leader with numerous awards, including, Enterprising Woman Award, Woman of Distinction Award, Soroptomist Women Helping Women Award, ONE Executive Director of the Year and the YWCA Woman of the Year. Areas of Expertise include Interim Management, Organizational Assessment and Transition Planning, Comprehensive Fundraising Campaigns, Board Development, Leadership Coaching and Mentoring.
