ABOUT LINDA SCHMID

I know what it takes to transform great ideas into a great company. While my colleagues design and build our communities, I design and build the companies that serve these communities. With over 25 years of experience in the AEC industry, I’m constantly inspired to evolve better strategies, design more efficient systems, and cultivate sustainable company cultures. Because I know that a company built on values adds value to its community.As Chief Financial Officer at CSWST2, I guide our firm towards profitability and sustainability, while fostering an environment that encourages professional growth and accountability. I collaborate directly with management teams to develop and implement plans for the infrastructure of financial systems, operational processes, and personnel that will accommodate the firm’s growth objectives. I believe in an “all-in” leadership approach, and consider our employees’ professional and personal growth a priority when making financial and operational decisions. I know that mentoring is a cornerstone of effective management, and some of the best experiences I’ve had involved programming that advanced career development for my employees. Collaborating with the next generation of industry leaders is the most profound part of my work.Before joining CSW|ST2 in 2020, I served as the Chief Operating Officer at Sherwood. Before that, the Chief Financial/Operating Officer at BKF Engineers. During my tenure, I drove strategy, planning, and accounting initiatives to grow these firms, and managed infrastructure development to support hundreds of employees across dozens of offices.When I’m not shaping the future of the firms I lead, I enjoy traveling, rolling up my sleeves and experimenting with artisan baking techniques, and urban farming.
