Strong business professional graduated from the University of Southern California with a 4.0 GPA Master of Aging Services Management in Gerontology Geriatric Specialist recently relocated to the Los Angeles area to be closer to immediate family. Excited to share my extensive experience, advanced education and knowledge of aging services and dementia to advance the quality of life and purposeful living in the senior care industries.Experienced, compassionate manager in the senior care industry with over 10 years of experience. Demonstrated history of strategically thinking, planning and implementing changes and creating cohesive teams that positively impact the lives of seniors and support strong teamwork.Previously, volunteered with Mosaic, a non-profit providing a wide range of services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Increased social opportunities, promoted Mosaic programs and initiatives at special events and supported fundraising within the community. Served as the Liaison Representative between Christ Lutheran Church, Dallas, Texas (CLC) and Mosaic. Facilitated collaborations between the CLC congregation and the Dallas faith community to provide gifts, and plan events and community fundraising to support Mosaic. Served as CLC Community Life Ministry Co-Chairperson arranging charity work and promoting relationships with the community.Prior co-owner/operator of three successful small businesses. First, a retail bakery which was expanded to include wholesale operations, increasing the net profits over 200% in three years. Second, a nail, tanning and skincare salon where I developed a skincare product line and expanded the business to include a fully equipped skincare salon; hired and trained a professional aesthetician to promote new product line. Third, formed a new start-up mortgage business which achieved profitability within six months.
