ABOUT LINDA K WATTLES

I\'m kind of a numbers person so naturally I ended up in this field. Being very analytical, I ask a lot of questions for cause and effect. Through a combination of data-driven decision making, an ability to interpret trends, and a keen understanding of how people—whether employees, vendors, customers, or partners-impact operations, I offer a track record of managing accounting procedures, analysis, projects, reports, and continuous improvement initiatives. I believe this is an asset because I see the big picture and the long-term aspects of decisions and transactions. I’ve also worn many hats throughout my career including CPA, Controller, and Accountant. As a result, I have a unique ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects and resolve complex challenges. A few accomplishments I’m proud of include: Modernized systems, providing training and oversight to 10 employees on new finance processes that optimized record-keeping solutions and improved access to updated data. Reduced risk by assessing financial and economic performance of various projects/business units using a detailed understanding of revenue/cost drivers to recommend solutions and manage counterparty risk. Saved $3M in fines through due diligent review of expiring Medicare contract by negotiating a new contract with better terms. I am focused on putting my passion and skills to good use.
