ABOUT LINDA BUMGARNER

In my current position, I work closely with global chief creative officer Debbi Vandeven to ensure the creative, integrated production and experience design departments globally are running smoothly across the agency. I serve as a liaison to the HR and broader agency teams, and my responsibilities include staffing and recruiting and retention at the executive level. In addition to identifying best-in-class creative talent globally for the agency, I help cultivate career paths for top creative talent and strategizes on purposeful future growth opportunities for leaders within the agency. During my time at VML, I\'ve been fortunate to oversee the creative work of various teams of creative directors, producers, editors, motion graphics artists, art directors, copywriters and designers across North America. Along with my creative team, I\'ve worked on a range of accounts, including Allstate Financial, AMC, Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Gatorade, Hostess Brands, Intuit, Invisalign, Kellogg\'s, Revlon, Sears, Simon Property Group, Southwest Airlines, TJX, Tom\'s of Maine, Visit KC and Western Union. Prior to joining VML in 2006, I concepted and wrote for clients including Wal-Mart, Beauty Brands, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Commerce Bank, Farmland Foods, KCPL, House of Blues, Kendall Jackson Wineries, Aladdin Hotel and Casino, Sheraton and Westin.Fortunate to be recognized by my peers for creative work in the mobile and titanium categories at Cannes, the SXSW Interactive Innovation Awards and the Tomorrow Awards, I\'ve also earned honors from One Show Interactive, the Effie Awards, American Advertising Awards, the Spikes Asia, the Webby Awards and more.
