ABOUT LINDA BEER

I bring over 20 years of experience designing and leading large-scale clinical and behavioral research initiatives, with a focus on generating high-quality, actionable data to inform patient care, intervention development, and health system performance. I have authored over 130+ peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts and reports and provided scientific and editorial oversight for over 600 abstracts, manuscripts, and reports.As a Senior Epidemiologist at the CDC, I lead the strategy, analysis, and reporting for a $14M annual national surveillance program focused on clinical outcomes and behavioral health trends. I work at the intersection of clinical research, data science, and health operations—overseeing protocol development, statistical modeling, and multi-site data integration to support data-driven decisions in complex healthcare environments.My career spans leadership roles in federal agencies, state health departments, and academic research centers. I’ve designed and managed studies involving medical record abstraction, quantitative and qualitative data collection, and real-world evidence generation. I’m experienced in cross-functional collaboration with clinicians, data scientists, regulatory teams, and community stakeholders—delivering insights that inform policy, patient engagement strategies, and care delivery models.
