ABOUT LINDA BEACH
Over forty years progressively responsible leadership in the nuclear industry, providing high hazard waste management services to DOE and commercial contractors. Served as the DOE\'s Transuranic Waste Processing Center\'s (TWPC\'s) program manager for seven years, safely and compliantly processing remote and contact handled transuranic waste to meet Waste Isolation Pilot Plant waste acceptance criteria. TWPC is an OSHA Voluntary Protection Program Star of Excellence Site, and the Environmental Management System is ISO 14001:2015 registered. Served as Vice President and General Manager with significant profit and loss responsibilities of two separate 100-180 employee radioactive waste management facilities. Created a nuclear safety culture at both facilities, relationships with regulators improved, external audit findings dramatically reduced, operations enhanced, and personnel injury rates slashed. Was a key factor in the successful licensing, construction, start up and operation of the Waste Control Specialists LLC Byproduct, Compact and Federal low-level radioactive waste disposal facilities. A unique background in operations, licensing, environmental, safety and compliance has been key to anticipating and proactively addressing potential issues that may arise with new and innovative operations.
