When protests broke out around the United States in June 2020, I created a podcast to share my account of the protests in Washington, DC. However, Be the change. Podcast quickly developed to become a weekly podcast featuring young activists, advocates, and changemakers from around the US and then around the world.In November 2023, I launched Be the change. Media Network in an effort to amplify more young people\'s voices. The network currently features 18 podcasts produced by young people, and more podcasts are set to launch throughout 2025.We are now developing Be the change. Media Academy, with the support of Big Change’s Spark Awards, to train and equip over young people across the UK with skills in media literacy and ethical storytelling.
