ABOUT LILY MELCHER

I am a senior at the University of Texas at Austin studying accounting in the McCombs School of Business. I completed my freshman year at Vanderbilt University where I was studying Economics and Political Science. While I was born in Texas, I am also a French citizen and have many family members who reside there. This has given me a greater global perspective as well as the ability to communicate with a wider array of individuals. I am currently a member of my business fraternity, Phi Gamma Nu, my pre-law honor society, Phi Delta Phi, and my sorority, Pi Beta Phi. I serve as the alumni chair of Phi Gamma Nu. In the future, I plan to attend law school once I complete my accounting degree. I have always been mathematically inclined and have been fascinated by our country\'s legal system since a young age. In light of this, I intend to pursue a career in corporate litigation as it suits my skills and passions for both of these domains. When I am not studying or participating in my extracurriculars, I love to bake, ride horseback, and study more about topics that are of special interest to me, such as physics, coding, and french history and culture. More than anything, I love meeting new people, and I would love to connect!
