About Lili Chen

I always believe that courageous action is often rewarded. I was born and raised in Taiwan. In 2019, I moved to the U.S. to pursue my passion for data analytics. Although it was a tough decision to leave home and my career behind, the experience has been invaluable. As I reflect on my journey, I can proudly say that I am resilient in my professional, academic, and personal life.I took the chance with a clear goal and careful consideration. I would like to save organizations from being overwhelmed by disparate sources of data and extract value from them. I know how hard to make a judgment as a decision-maker in the business because the right data-savvy talents are scarce. I started off my career as a business analyst where I developed strong skills to influence senior leadership on decision-making. After working in brand management for 4 years, I gain expertise in building brands from zero and realize my biggest passion is to find insights between numbers. In 2021 May, I officially earned my MS in Marketing degree from UT Austin. During the fast-paced and intense graduate program at UT, I honed up my technical skills, including SQL, Python, statistical modeling, etc.Curiosity is my top strength. Besides digging into numbers and figuring out the cause behind them, I love talking to my stakeholders to learn their pain points and experience. I believe that data is useful only if it can solve their problems. I am ready to leverage my strategic planning background and my advanced data analytics skills to begin a new chapter in my career!
