About Lily Applegate

I am a Junior in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Marketing and a minor in Advertising & Public Relations. I am committed to growth and achieving success through hard work and dedication. In my current position as a President for Alpha Delta Pi, I oversee chapter operations, lead strategic initiatives, and support the success of a large chapter of 530 women. This allows me to grow in my communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, as I interact with diverse groups, lead initiatives to engage and support members, and address any challenges that arise during the year.My career goal is to work in the marketing industry with a focus on customer and brand strategy. I am passionate about the combination of creativity and strategic thinking that is embraced in marketing, as it allows me to solve problems while crafting compelling narratives. Through my coursework in graphic design, advertising and public relations, and management, I have gained the knowledge and skills to develop creative marketing strategies and the ability to understand consumer behavior. Additionally, I have gained the skills to work with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Excel, allowing me to effectively analyze data and create visually appealing marketing campaigns. I am excited to explore opportunities in areas such as brand positioning, customer insights, and digital marketing, and I look forward to applying these skills to help organizations build meaningful, lasting relationships with their customers.
