About Lily Woodall

I’m a UT Austin sophomore with a major in Journalism and a minor in International Business, passionate about how law, business, and global affairs shape the systems we rely on every day. As the Founding Media Director of UT’s newly launched Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) chapter, I’ve helped shape a community of students dedicated to public‑interest and investigative reporting. I also serve as Director of Alpha Phi’s Red Dress Gala, where I\'m in charge of executing our chapter’s largest annual philanthropy event benefiting women’s heart health.My interest in legal systems is informed by international experience, including the Lex Fellowship in Madrid, where I shadowed attorneys working in corporate and international law. This summer, I’ll be studying business law abroad in Edinburgh, Scotland through the McCombs School of Business.I’m endlessly curious, whether I\'m learning from new cultures, traveling, taking pilates classes, or finding my next favorite podcast, and I\'m committed to becoming the best version of myself through every new experience.
