As my 5-year-old daughter says, my job is to “help kids.” The mission of District Superintendents: “To be vigorous agents for reform, effectively advocating for educational excellence and equity on behalf of all learners in New York State. Doing this requires collaboration and leadership at the regional and state levels in partnership with the Commissioner of Education, the Board of Regents, and local school districts.” I support our amazing local campuses, the fabulous nine component districts in our region, and the greater State of New York, to ultimately cultivate a better and more equitable educational future.
