ABOUT LILY SHIRES
I am currently a senior at Towson University studying Mass Communication with a track in Advertising and Public Relations. I am passionate about branding, media strategy, and creative storytelling, and I am actively seeking opportunities where I can further develop my creative and leadership skills through internships or entry-level positions.I previously interned with The Setting NYC, where I gained hands-on experience in visual design and client-focused creative strategy. I created design boards for both residential and commercial properties, researched third-party vendors to identify cost-effective, high-quality alternatives, and contributed to the overall creative direction of projects. This experience strengthened my eye for aesthetics, attention to detail, and understanding of brand presentation.In addition to my creative background, I have developed strong interpersonal and service skills through experience in restaurant service. Working in a fast-paced, customer-centered environment has strengthened my communication skills, ability to think quickly under pressure, multitasking capabilities, and commitment to delivering exceptional experiences. I’ve learned how to collaborate effectively with teams, manage time efficiently, and handle challenges with professionalism — skills that directly translate into client relations and brand management roles.I am eager to apply my creative, strategic, and customer-focused mindset to the fields of branding, media, and advertising, and I am excited to continue growing in dynamic and collaborative environments.
