About Lily Smith
I am a third-year student at Washington University in St. Louis, where I study political science and philosophy, with a minor in psychological & brain sciences. I am interested in law and politics, and hope to pursue my interests in both policy and advocacy by attending law school after receiving my Bachelor\'s degree. Specifically, I am passionate about promoting mental health advocacy in the legal system and hope to find a career in law that allows me to advocate for individuals in under-resourced communities. In the spring of 2026, I will be studying abroad in Dublin, Ireland, through Arcadia University\'s Dublin Parliamentary Internship program. Through this competitive program, I will intern under a member of parliament in the Dáil Éireann, one of two bodies in Ireland\'s bicameral legislature, in addition to taking courses at the Institute of Public Administration.
