In this role Griego leads HHS to inform the public on maternal health disparities, efforts to strengthen behavioral health, historic gains in insuring Americans and preparing for potential future public health emergencies. She also serves under the leadership of U. S. Secretary Xavier Becerra to inform state, local and tribal governments of the actions taken by the Biden Harris Administration has taken to decrease disparities and strengthen our recovery from the global pandemic.
