About Lily Gleicher
With over 9 years of experience in criminal justice research and data analytics, I am passionate about advancing evidence-based practices and policies that promote fairness, dignity, equity, and sustainability. My past and current experience has allowed me to lead, design, conduct, and disseminate studies on the process and impact of criminal and youth legal system programs and policies. I collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, staff, funders, partners, and policymakers, to ensure that research and data analytics are relevant, rigorous, efficient, and responsive to the needs and challenges within criminal legal systems and communities. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with the next generation of scholars and practitioners, and engaging them in critical and creative thinking about the issues and opportunities in the field. I believe in involving impacted people and communities, engaging in equitable research and analytics, and understanding and gathering various perspectives. I have a PhD and an MS in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Connecticut. I have proficient skills in higher education, research methodology, statistical analysis, programming languages ((i.e, Python, R), manipulating and analyzing large datasets, and Salesforce reporting.
