   Hack for LA is the Greater Los Angeles, CA Code for America Brigade. We organize weekly meetups and events with over members working with nonprofit, government, and private partners to build a more livable Los Angeles using open data and open source technology. Hack for LA was founded in 2013 as part of the Los Angeles partner for the White House National Day of Civic Hacking initiative started under the Obama administration\'s Office of Science & Technology Policy.
