With over 10 years of experience in working with relational databases, I am a senior backend and database developer at NYC & Company, the official destination marketing organization for the five boroughs of New York City. I am responsible for ensuring the operation and optimization of spidering systems, app servers, web interface servers, and database servers, using various technologies such as MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, PHP, Perl, and HTML/CSS/JavaScript.I also have a strong background and expertise in creating and managing search engines with Apache Nutch, ElasticSearch, Solr, MongoDB, and HBase/Hadoop, applying machine learning techniques and indexing methods. I am skilled in using PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Yii, CodeIgniter, and ExpressionEngine, as well as JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, React.js, and Node.js. I hold certifications in WAN, MCSE, CCNA, and CCNP, and I speak English, German, and Hungarian fluently. My mission is to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable solutions for NYC & Company and its clients, using my extensive knowledge and experience in backend and database development.
