About Lillianna Cardamone

I am a Stamps Eminence Scholar at The Ohio State University (Class of 2029), pursuing a double major in Security & Intelligence and World Politics, with interests spanning civil & human rights advocacy, intelligence analysis, public policy and law. The Stamps Eminence Scholarship is Ohio State’s most prestigious merit award, granted to a highly selective cohort of students (~40 of 8,200 first-years) recognized for exceptional academic achievement, leadership and a demonstrated commitment to public service & impact. My academic focus reflects a desire to understand how security threats, domestic and international violence, and systemic inequities intersect with law, governance, and human rights. I am particularly interested in roles at the intersection of intelligence, legal systems, and public policy, including investigative, legislative, and prevention-focused approaches to protecting vulnerable populations. This interest is grounded in sustained, hands-on service & leadership. Over 4 years, I volunteered weekly at Lighthouse Pregnancy Resource Center, supporting women, children & families participating in programs focused on breaking cycles of abuse and neglect. I have also founded & led nonprofit initiatives addressing digital inequity and supporting chronically & terminally ill children and families living at the poverty level, gaining early experience in ethical leadership, governance & community partnership-building.I have also participated in global and policy-focused experiences, including tutoring students in Ukraine through ENGin and engaging in United Nations forums centered on women’s rights and gender equity. These experiences have reinforced my interest in approaches that integrate security awareness, legal frameworks, and human rights protections.I am seeking Summer 2026 internships (NY Metro) aligned with:Investigative & Intelligence-focused roles, including college investigative internshipsLegislative internships, including those with the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business & EntrepreneurshipInternational organizations, including United Nations internship programsCivil & Human Rights Organizations, including survivor-centered legal advocacy groups such as Sanctuary for FamiliesI bring strong analytical thinking, professionalism, discretion, empathy & nonprofit leadership experience, and am eager to contribute to organizations working to strengthen security, justice & the rule of law while protecting human dignity. Please feel free to connect regarding aligned opportunities at C••••••••@buckeyemail.osu.edu.
