About Lillian Ashworth

I am a project manager, people leader, and chemical engineer with a passion for helping others and learning new things. In my current role, I am responsible for the Seattle area CAI teams delivering projects at a variety of biotech and pharmaceutical industry clients. I have managed teams of up to 15 engineers for project work, as well as serving in the key relationship role between client engineers and SMEs, quality teams, other consultants, vendors, and our internal engineering team to drive project schedules and budgets. I am responsible for ensuring projects are adequately staffed, controlled, and that value added, scope, and budget expectations are maintained. I write proposals and estimates for new projects, develop business in the Seattle area, report on current project progress, as well as creatively solving problems, and foreseeing and preventing roadblocks. My goals in my career are to help others connect and to do work that positively impacts my community and our world. I am passionate about getting to know people and making teams work better, and my education and experience managing teams and projects have equipped me with the skills I need to do that. I\'d like to be in a position that enables me to prioritize time with my family and community, and working in a company culture that honors mental health, physical health, and understands corporate social responsibility. I appreciate a company culture where people at all levels of the organization are empowered to drive change, take action, and make decisions. I like being able to switch between multiple workstreams and interact with a lot of ideas on a daily basis.Outside of work, I am on the board of a professional choir in Seattle, as well as singing with them, performing with theatres and dance groups. gardening, hiking, spending time on Lake Washington (in the summer!) and caring for my dog.
