Currently, leading a Quality Improvement Project for the OT Department at CV Roman Clinic, defining strategic goals to enhance efficiency and patient outcomes. Passionate about improving patient education and healthcare outcomes, I developed a Pain and Wellness Education Program using clinical research, patient observations, and screening assessments to identify health literacy gaps and the impact of unmet social determinants of health on patient well-being.To support this initiative, I designed a project proposal charter outlining the class structure, delivery methods, and expected patient impact. To measure program effectiveness, developed and implemented pre/post-surveys, which consistently demonstrate a 2-point improvement in pain scale communication and management. Ongoing data analysis continues to refine the program, with participants reporting greater understanding and confidence in managing their pain. Led a Unit-Based Council project to enhance patient satisfaction, service delivery, and engagement in an outpatient rehab facility. Identified survey improvement strategies, analyzed patient feedback, and developed data-driven recommendations. Presented four actionable solutions for ongoing customer service improvements and process optimization. Provide peer mentorship in acute and outpatient settings, onboarding rehab staff and training on clinical/regulatory requirements and EPIC documentation. Facilitate monthly meetings for goal setting, career development, and clinical guidance, offering one year of ongoing support. Provide OT to 9-11 patients daily in outpatient and acute settings, increasing productivity from 89% to 110% through strategic scheduling and no-show mitigation. Perform chart analysis to tailor treatments, address patient safety, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Focus on quality improvement, reducing falls, pain documentation, and readmissions.
