ABOUT LILJA RAINE
Sports Technology student and competitive cyclist at Loughborough University, combining engineering principles with applications in sport.My degree develops skills across product design, materials and manufacturing, biomechanics, ergonomics, and data analysis. This mix of technical and applied learning enables me to approach challenges with creativity, adaptability, and a strong engineering foundation tailored to the sports industry.Alongside my studies, I am Chair of the Students Cycling Club (2025/26), having previously served as Development Captain. In these roles I have supported athlete progression through planning and delivering training opportunities, providing coaching, and creating an inclusive and ambitious environment. I also compete in road, gravel, and hill climb disciplines at regional, national, BUCS, and UCI events.
