If you are looking for a seasoned English Italian interpreter (= spoken language translator) for your high profile, high stakes event in New York or in America, you\'ve come to the right place.My track record includes interpreting the thoughts of over 100 actors/ filmmakers, 18 Academy Award winners, 3 US Presidents, and 2 Popes (or 3 if you count Jude Law).Countless Italian and American politicians, filmmakers, artists, attorneys, bankers, business owners, and physicians have successfully communicated with their counterparts, fans, clients, and patients through my voice (or rather, brain and heart) for almost two decades. And French and Spanish-speaking filmmakers and artists, as well.I hold a number of formal certifications, but the most important one is my graduate degree in conference interpreting. This means that my simultaneous and consecutive interpreting skills, my research skills, and my ethics code were acquired through a rigorous formal advanced education program, not just picked up by trial and error along the way. After that, many years of experience on the job, and a passion for psychology, have taught me how to navigate hundreds of different scenarios, industries, client types, and events formats. I bring to the table not only outstanding language skills but also a pro-active, positive, constructive personality; this allows me to quickly \"feel the room\" and tailor my approach to the specific needs of your event or meeting.I have dual American and European citizenship. I was born and raised in Italy, graduated from high school in Minnesota, and have called New York home for the past 18 years. Before that, I lived in France for 3 years, in Quebec for 2, in Spain for a year.You can also count on me as a project manager for the interpreting component of your event.
